They apply when you create a business page or an agent page (as a salesperson, agent or freelancer), when you join a page as staff, and whenever you act for a page: getting its QR code, linking a stand, opening, replying to reviews.
The owner is responsible for the page and for what its staff do on it.
Give accurate information about who you are, what you sell, your prices, and where and when you are open. Make only claims you can back up, for example "halal certified" only with a valid JAKIM or state certificate.
- Place your PopZ QR code or stand openly, on the counter or at your booth, where any customer can see and use it.
- Don't show it only to chosen customers, hide it from some, or put it away when a customer seems unhappy.
- Use it where you sell. Don't post it online or send it to people who haven't visited: a review needs a real visit, and scans from far away are refused and checked.
You decide to put up a QR code. You don't decide who reviews you.
You may ask any customer to review you, for example "please scan and tell others what you think".
- Never give or promise anything in exchange for a review, or for a good one: no free items, discounts, extra portions, vouchers, lucky draws, points or cash.
- Don't make anything depend on what a customer writes, or ask to see their review.
- Offers open to every customer, whether they review you or not, are fine.
- Never review your own page, and never review a competitor.
- Don't ask staff, family or friends to review your page, or use other people's accounts or phones to do it.
- Owners and staff, and the phones they use, are recorded as linked to the page and can never review it, even after they leave.
Never pressure, threaten or pay a customer to change or remove a review, and don't try to track down who wrote one. Answer reviews with a public reply, or report a review that breaks the Review Policy.
Customers can report a page, including "The seller offered me something for a review", and our checks look for patterns such as reviews from the same phones or bursts of new accounts. Depending on what happened, we may:
- count some reviews less, or remove them;
- send you a warning;
- show a public "Suspicious review activity detected" notice on your page for a period;
- disable a QR code or stand;
- suspend the page or your account.
We tell you what we did and why, and you can appeal a suspension once, as the Terms of Service explain.
When we change these terms, we ask you to accept the new version in the app before you create a page, get a QR code or link a stand. The date at the top shows the current version.
